POS Test Retakes

I am offering my 8th graders the opportunity to retake
the POS test on Tuesday, August 23rd at lunch. This
will be the only retake time and it is only available to
students who scored 14 or lower.

Agenda 8 for 8/15-8/19

-Library: Textbook Checkout
-Binder Reminders (and everyday hereafter)
-Finish Rix Rules
HW: POS Frames

Tuesday
-Practice Parts of Speech (examples and identification)
-Grading Procedures
-Read: Living Up the Street "Being Mean"
HW: Study for POS Test

Wednesday
CHANGE!!!! NO TEST TODAY
-Read: Living Up the Street "Being Mean" continued
-HW: Study for POS Test

Thursday
CHANGE!!!! POS TEST and Correct
-Introduce the Elements of Storytelling(Narratives)
-Start Grammar 10.1 in class
-HW: Grammar Lesson 10.1 (pp 178-180)

Friday
-Correct and Post Grammar 10.1
-HW:Elements of Storytelling Activity: "Being Mean"
